I've been doing photography for a while, and made lots of mistakes; opening a camera with film in, getting dizzy with developing chemicals after a ten hour stint in a darkroom, and formatting several memory cards. I've learned a lot though, and I'd like to share some of the more advanced tips and philosophies here. There's a great deal of resources for the basics online, and I highly recommend joining the Photo.net forums, as there's a wealth of experience on there for technical issues. For all this, the best way to learn is to take photographs, experiment, and keep learning from your mistakes.
